ABOUT US

Formation was formed in 1997 by our Managing Director, Amanda Pearce-Burton. We have a core team of 17 staff and use a team of over 30 experienced consultants and trainers to deliver work for clients in the public sector. Our clients include national government departments, local government and voluntary sector organisations. We believe that we should be judged not on our words alone, but on our clients. With a large degree of repeat business, we have assisted our clients on both large and small projects. We have provided work that lasts for as little as a day, as well as winning projects that last for several years.

Formation provides an intelligent and refreshing alternative to the traditional "we know best" culture often found in training and consultancy. We don't impose our own opinions on our client's organisation, instead we help build on the skills and attributes that currently exist.

Formation has a proven ability to:

• work collaboratively and developmentally with large national organisations;
• support clients whose stakeholders, staff and client groups each have significantly different expectations and demands;
• remain flexible to changing demands of work over the life of a project;
• work with multiple partners and build successful links with other agencies; and
