In March, The Department of Work & Pension's Age Positive campaign named Formation an Age Positive Employer Champion. The status was in recognition of our commitment to employing a mixed-age workforce that includes both older and younger people. The Age Positive campaign encourages employers to make decisions about recruitment, training and retention that ensure no-one is discriminated against because of their age.

At Formation, we are committed to appointing and promoting staff because of ability and not age. The current age for our staff and associate trainers and consultants ranges from 26 to 70. This is a real achievement, since we have a small team of 8 employed staff, with a pool of 25 sub-contracted, self-employed associates.
